Gareth Walton is a popular DJ and Compere, based in South East London. He has performed both in the UK and across Europe, for people from all walks of life and nationalities. He has entertained thousands of people over the years, from behind his decks as a DJ, on stage as a compere and gameshow host or behind the scenes organising a fantastic programe of evening entertainment.
Gareth Walton's reputation and keen eye is quickly making him one of London's most sought after DJ/Entertainers for Weddings, Civil Partnerships and Corporate Events.
Gareth's eleven year career as an Entertainer/DJ began in the UK with "Haven Holidays" as a resident Haven Mate and DJ. The following year he spent seven months as an entertainment’s manager in large family hotels across the Balearic islands. His career as an entertainment manager continued to take him to many more European family hotels, until he finally worked on a P&O cruise ship as the resident compere and DJ.
With an extensive collection of music, some 30,000 songs, spanning the decades from the 1920's up to the present day, Gareth Walton is sure he will have the right songs for you. This collection of music has taken Gareth well over 15 years to put together, and he is constantly adding to it with new music requests from clients. Unlike some Djs, Gareth prides himself on giving the client what they want and will always adhere to his client’s taste in music.
All Gareth's equipment that he uses for mobile discos is regularly updated, carefully maintained and designed to impress. For your ultimate safety and reassurance, all equipment used carries a P.A.T Certificate (Portable Appliance Tested). Some venues require a copy of P.A.T Certificates. If so, just inform Gareth when booking and the relevant certificates can be passed on.
